Cuba Up Close™ and Sippican Lands Trust are teaming up once again to offer a fun- filled exploration of Cuban culture, food and the people. The Sippican Lands Trust and Cuba Up Close™ have created a special 8-day, 7-night exploration of Cuba tentatively planned for Saturday, June 4 through Saturday, June 11, 2022. Check this once-in-a-lifetime trip off your bucket list and visit a vibrant island country that has changed little in over 50 years.
Cuba Up Close and the Sippican Lands Trust will feature private tours of authentic Cuba celebrating the friendliness and vibrancy of this island nation in the Caribbean. As part of your tour, you will travel to Old Havana, visit Hemingway’s old haunts in the city known as the “Rome of the Caribbean” and soak in the amazing art at the Museo de Bellas Artes (including a private tour of the museum). Tour participants will also visit the acclaimed National Museum of Natural History in Havana along with a special guided tour of Las Terrazas, a sustainable agricultural community. There will be visits to the historic and beautiful Bay of Pigs swim and snorkel option at the Bay of Pigs, to the Vinhals UNESCO World Heritage Site, an authentic tobacco farm, and environmental education programs in Cuba.
If you would like to attend either the in person or virtual information sessions, please email Nicole Kirkos at nkirkos@sippicanlandstrust.org. This trip will only be able to host 26 to 28 people, so act fast. Registration is required.
Hope to see you there!
