Sippican Community Cookbook of Environmental Service Projects
The Massachusetts Environmental Trust (MET) awarded SLT a grant to work with local schools, including Old Rochester Regional Jr. & Senior High Schools, Tabor Academy, the Marion Museum of Natural History, and local scout groups to develop community service projects. The “cookbook” will document the process and requirements of their selected environmental projects, so that other students can learn from their experiences and other students replicate them at other sites. Projects include developing exhibits, making raised walkways, and creating field guides.
